Psst. I have the Prologue for a retelling of Star Fox Assault up(basically takes place after Star Fox Zero); but I can't think of a good title for it:doh: On top of that, I got stuck after the Prologue......Any ideas/suggestions?(Damn Writer's Block......)(P.S. I tried to keep everyone in the story as closely in character as possible. Here's what I got so far: Star Fox Assault PrologueAn Unlikely SaviorThe story begins at a dangerously high height, somewhere just around the Planet atmosphere of a blue planet called Corneria(in other words, pretty close to space). High over Corneria are a pair of unusal life forms duking it out: One of them was a giant mechanical butterfly(or at least something that looked like one)with blue and purple wings. The other was a human girl with caramel colored hair(not quite light enough to be blonde, but not dark enough to be brunette either)dressed in an outfit closely similar(albeit a more feminine touch)to Classic Ash Ketchum from the Kanto and Johto sagas of Pokemon(Easter Eggs ftw :3). Well, she was MOSTLY human; but her legs were also mechanical from the thigh down. Basically she was a cybernetically enhanced human, but we'll get to that another time. Her name was Kimiko Marshall, and these two creatures were fighting each other out in space just above the Planet Corneria."I dunno who/what this is or what it wants," the girl said to herself. "I don't even know how I got here--but if that thing gets to the Planet's surface, who knows what'll happen! I can only think of one way to keep that thing away from the Planet's inhabitants......" Without any hesitation, the human flew up to her robotic opponent courtesy of the engines in her mechanical limbs, pulled one of her legs back and...... *KLANG!* Kicked her enemy as hard as she could, sending it flying clear out of orbit and away from the blue Planet. Whatever that thing was, it wouldn't be bugging anyone any time soon......But before the young heroine could celebrate, something she dreaded to hear rang out through the depths of space: her legs were all out of gas! And she didn't have any rocket fuel to recharge! The human was so busy trying to protect the Planet(despite not even knowing said Planet)that she forgot how high up she really was! Her face went pale as she realized what was next. Frantically she flapped her arms in an attempt to stay afloat; but it only delayed the inevitable by like, 5 seconds. Looking to the camera/viewers(4th Wall Break LOL), the only words she could get out of her mouth was a slightly squeaked "Game Over!" before she finally succumbed to the forces of gravity and fell to the Planet's surface, practically blacking out in the process.Meanwhile, an anthropomorphic fox with brownish-orange fur, green irises and a matching pair of swimming trunks was relaxing at a swimming pool near the beaches of Corneria City. His comrades--a blue feathered male bird named Falco Lombardi, a green male bullfrog wearing a red cap named Slippy Toad, a brown fur female Lynx named Miyu, a white furred female Cocker Spaniel with a pinkish-red bow on her head named Fay, a blue and white furred vixen with turquoise blue irises in a blue bodysuit named Krystal, and a grey furred rabbit named Peppy Hare--were also chilling out, not too far from their fearless leader. The fox's Full Name was Fox McCloud, and it had been a few years since he and his friends saved the Lylat System and defeated Andross, a mad scientist who wanted to conquer all of Lylat. Together, they were known as the Star Fox Team, and they had definitely earned a well-deserved vacation for helping to fend off Andross's forces. Anyway, Fox and his crew were all about to head back to their mothership, the Great Fox, when Slippy saw something in the sky. Before he could even try to warn the others......*THUD!!!!*The ground shook for a moment or two, catching the Star Fox Team(and everyone else at the pool)totally off guard. Thankfully it settled down enough for everyone to regain their senses. "What the hell was that!?!" the bird snapped skeptically. "I dunno," the amphibian said, "but it sure was loud!" "The noise came from over there!" the bluish woman stated, pointing to a pair of trees that were now broken. "You all thinking what I'm thinking?" Fox asked, to which everyone else simply nodded. The space furries all headed into the changing room(s), dried off with a towel for each, and threw on their usual Star Fox uniforms before rushing over to the scene of the crash. Star Fox--along with several other Cornerian witnesses--were astonished(and possibly confused)by their discovery. "Is, that......?" Slippy wondered to himself part way. "If I'm not mistaken......" Krystal said. Upon taking a closer look...... "A human?" "WHAT?" Peppy was in disbelief. "But how!?" "I thought the humans went extinct a long time back!" Miyu protested. "How can there be a human all the way out here in Lylat!?!" "We can worry about that later!" Falco responded, carefully picking up the unconscious human into his arms. "Right now we gotta get the lady here some medical attention!" "Uh-oh, her legs don't look too good!" Slippy commented, pointing to her right leg, which appeared to be spitting out a few sparks. "I guess I could fix them back up, but......"Kimiko should count herself lucky to have landed into the right kinds of hands. Even so, with everything that was happening, her life was about to change forever......

Star Fox Assault Prologue 2Enter Kimiko Marshall!About two and a half hours later, the human woke up to find herself in a different place. Blinking a few times, she slowly opened her snakeskin colored eyes before slowly sitting herself upright. Her vision was still a little blurry at first, but it cleared up in several seconds. Then she rubbed her scalp, moaning. "Ugh......My head......" "Hey, you guys! She's awake!!" A cute female voice called. That voice belonged to a white poodle looking girl with a pink hair bow and matching uniform. Her friends, a group of other anthroporphic animals in similar outfits, rushed over. "Oh, thank goodness!" The green one spoke up. "I was worried there for a while!" "And I thought Peppy was a heavy sleeper," the blue feathered pilot slightly teased("HEY!").Kimiko shook her head in a double take sort of fashion. Talking animals? How is this possible!? "This......is......Am I DEAD?" The human stuttered. "No!" The froggy answered worriedly. "We can fix that for ya," The brown furred girl muttered with a teasing smirk. *SMACK!* The poodle slapped her silly. "AH! What?" "................................Then I must be dreaming......" The human pinched her right cheek. "OW! Nope, I felt that one......" Now the furries were even more concerned. The caramel haired girl looked all around herself. "I'm not on Earth anymore, am I?" "Far from that," the bird said before raising an eyebrow out of(somewhat)curiosity. "What, is that where you're from?" "Yeah......" Kimiko started. "My brother and his wife had gone missing, so I told my parents I would go to look for them. But then this giant tornado came in sucking us up, and--" the human abruptly stopped mid-sentence in horror upon remembering that she had been cruelly separated from the rest of her kin trying to help find her brother. "Oh, no!! What happened to my home!?" she cried out. "My family?" Her eyes began to water. "Cedric......Ruby......" She cupped both hands over her face. There was a good chance that she would NEVER see the rest of her family again......Kimiko began to cry......Now, you can tell that the Lynx felt pretty bad about her obviously poor choice of joking words. "Sorry......" was all she could think of when her friends simply looked at her. Even the tough as nails Falco was sorry for the poor human, though he didn't really show it. The bird simply said "I'm sure they're fine." *sniffle* "I really hope so......" Kimiko cared a great deal about her relatives, and they also cared deeply for her. Kimiko tearfully recalled her side of the story as best as she could. "I was just about to set out to look for my big brother when a nasty storm came in," she explained. "Then, without warning, a strong gust of wind broke the kitchen window! The good news is I was able to safely evacuate everyone else into the basement. My mom, dad, Aunt Sharron, my brother-in-law Officer Micheal, my big sister Jen and young niece Rialey, even the newborn Sierra all made it down stairs safely. The bad news is, I couldn't save myself from what would come and destroy my home. I didn't even get to say goodbye to my loved ones......" Fox and his friends all listened carefully and took everything in(or at least tried to). "When I regained my senses, I was just drifting......Where, exactly, I had no clue. Only that I was no longer on Earth......" Kimiko continued. "But before I could think of a way to get back, I was ambushed by this......butterfly looking machine." Her face turned serious for a moment or two. "It looked like it was shooting lasers at your Planet here. I didn't know what it was in such a dither about, but I couldn't take the risk of any innocent lives getting caught up in a predicament like mine, so I fought it as hard as I could. I think I managed to scare it off for now, but I got a bad feeling it might be back. With or without friends I can't really tell for sure......" Her seriousness then shifted to worry. "Of course, I was so busy fending that weird machine that I forgot how far up off the ground I really was. To make matters worse, my legs were all out of juice, and I didn't have any rocket fuel handy! Seeing that I was about to land in a body of water that had other life forms in it, I could only think of one way to avoid inadvertently hurting someone: The last thing I remember is crash-landing into some trees, having narrowly avoided hitting an innocent civilian......Everything just went black after that. Next thing I know, I'm surrounded by you folks......" Kimiko fought back tears, but was losing. "But there's still no sign of my brother; or the rest of my family......" She couldn't hold her emotions back any longer. "Mom!!" she broke down sobbing even harder than earlier. "Dad!!" Normally Kimiko was a pretty calm and collected human, but seeing that her home AND her whole family were now completely gone...... "Cedric!!......I'm so sorry!!" The Space Furries all felt bad for their new friend, but didn't know what to do...... "If only......" the human thought out loud. "If only I could turn back the clock, back to simpler times......" Tears rolled down her pretty face. "Back to our brighter days......Before......" Falco couldn't believe he was doing this, but it was the only thing he could think of to at least try and comfort the new girl: He walked over to the human's side and......He was pulling her into a hug? Fox and the others were surprised(and possibly confused)to see this, coming from the proud Space Ace of all people. But none of them were complaining. How could they? Granted this random act of kindness didn't really stop the waterworks. But it did help Kimi to calm down enough that she returned the gesture longingly, and even cracked a smile a little bit. These folks might not be human like her, but they still showed sympathy and compassion. Hell, they saved her life when she needed it most! Human or anthro. Boy or girl. Black or white......What did any of that matter to this little lady? It's the inside that really counts, in her book. Before she or the bird knew it, there was a group hug all around......Until Falco cleared his throat in an unamused tone. Everyone broke off the mushy stuff, even Kimiko, who was slightly blushing as she scratched the back of her head sheepishly."So, uhh......" she began awkwardly. "Where am I, again?" "You're inside General Pepper's Tower!" Slippy happily replied. General Pepper's Tower? Kimiko repeated in her head. Must be someone really important! "You were out like a light when we found you near the Corneria City Swimming Pool!" "Corneria City, huh?" Kimiko looked out the window again. "Pretty cool place!" So that's where I wound up......But, what about Cedric and Ruby? I really hope they're alright...... "Wait a second," she paused. "That was a swimming pool I almost landed in?? No wonder there were others besides myself!!" Her face went red in embarrassment. "Sorry if I crashed a party or anything of the like......" "You did cause a bit of a stir," another voice stated. Kimiko and her furry friends turned to see where it came from. "General Pepper!" Fox exclaimed. THAT'S the General!? Kimiko told herself. Oh, sugar honey ice tea......I hope I didn't do anything to make him mad...... The human was suddenly nervous as the General walked over to her. She was sweating like crazy. "And it is quite unusual to see a human here in the Lylat System." The tough old hound dog continued. "However, you made an effort to make sure no one else was seriously hurt, despite your crash-landing. Not only that, but you saved our planet from a potential threat!" He smiled at the human girl. "For that, we are in your debt!" Kimiko couldn't help but look away timidly. "Oh, well......I, I was just following my gut instinct," the human sheepishly answered. "There's nothing wrong with that," the General replied. "Please, may we at least have your name?""Uhh......sure!" Kimiko wasn't sure about revealing herself, but she didn't want to sound rude. Much less to such an important figure of the city she just saved! "My name is Kimiko Marshall, and I come from Planet Earth of the Solar System." "I see......Fascinating," General Pepper smiled again. "Well, Kimiko, just know that you're always welcome in Corneria!" Kimiko's eyes went wide. Me? Really? The human didn't know what to think, nor did the Star Fox crew. But she managed to answer. "Well, umm......Thank you, sir! It's an honor!" she bowed her head in response as an attempt to show some good manners, though she also came off as a little gawkish/nervous. The Genral couldn't help but chuckle at this. "No need for formality, ma'am......Just call me General Pepper." "Really? Well, uhh......OK......General Pepper." Everyone in Star Fox--even Falco and Peppy--also smiled and slightly chuckled. "She seems like a nice enough girl," Falco stated. Although his arms were crossed, he also appeared to have a confident smirk. "A little clingy, but nice." Kimiko blushed at that statement. "By the way," General Pepper started. "I'd hate to ask more of you so soon........but I need you to fly out to Planet Fortuna." Fortuna? Kimiko tilted her head curiously. I wonder what that's like? "Think there's trouble there?" Fox asked. "I just received a distress signal coming from the deepest jungles of that Planet," General Pepper answered, "and I need you to investigate." "Understood." Fox nodded. "We're on it!" "Aww! What about my crab?" Slippy whined. "Guess there's no rest for the best," Falco shrugged. Upon hearing the phrase "distress signal," Kimiko's face lit up. "Could it be my big brother??" She questioned eagerly, leaping up out of her resting spot and hugging Peppy out of nowhere. Startled, Peppy stumbled backward a little before regaining his composure. "It's a possibility," he answered, caught off guard by this sudden burst of motivation. "But we'll never find out for sure, unless you......*ahem* loosen your grip on me......" Kimiko was quick to realize what the old rabbit meant by that. "Oh! Uhh......right," she responded, letting Peppy go as she once again blushed in embarrassment. "Sorry......Guess I'm still emotional about getting separated......" "It's fine," Fox said while gently putting a hand onto Kimiko's left shoulder. "I would be, too, if that were me in your position......"Needless to say, Kimiko's first adventure with the Star Fox Team began. Like I said, her life was about to change forever......
I meant to share something as an idea for birthday art, but I completely forgot(my birthday was yesterday, btw)

Picture: A Mermaid Sona of myself lifting Falco and taking him to the surface before he drowns
Plot of the picture: How Falco wound up in the waters of Planet Fortuna is anyone's guess(maybe his ship ran out of gas and was forced to make an emergency landing?); but we all know this much. If Falco didn't get out of there soon, he'd surely die! Well, not on this Little Mermaid's watch! Disregarding her own well being, she swam down to help the Proud Space Ace who just saved a baby dolphin from getting crushed by a fallen boulder(which as a result pinned his foot to the underwater floor instead of killing the baby)! Needless to say, aquatic life from all over came rushing and worked together to pry the big rock off of the land dweller so Mermaid Kimiko can(hopefully)save him! Sequel picture(s)optional :3 My Mermaid Sona is Part Human, Part Dolphin. Btw, here's what my Main Sona usually looks like: Kimiko Marshall's Character Inspiration by Nin10dohgirl

Can I submit something?
